This is half term one of the EC Resources Complete Year 7 PSHE Pack. This bundle includes 6 hours’ worth of lessons and an additional two introduction lessons (one for PSHE and RSE, the other as a general introduction to starting Secondary School). It also includes a detailed scheme of work and an assessment pack, full of optional assessment ideas.
All of the lesson packs are complete with detailed, well-differentiated and easy to follow PowerPoints, accompanying differentiated worksheets, information sheets, clip links with questions, plenaries, clear LOs, starters and engaging activities. They also have colour coded three-level challenges throughout, so students can choose different levels of challenge in every activity and you can easily measure progress throughout the lesson. Everything is editable too.
The pack has been mapped to the PSHE Association’s guidelines and coding for the new Statutory 2020 PSHE Curriculum (as detailed in the scheme of work) but over the year includes much more than the statutory requirements, including both British Values, Citizenship and Careers too. A KS4 PSHCE lesson which serves as both an introduction to the concept of disability discrimination in UK law and in depth examination of the 2010 Equality Act. The lesson, created by MACS Charity with EC Resources, allows students to investigate the benefits to society of the 2010 Equality Act by studying cases of discrimination in schools, workplaces and the wider world.
These resources also serve to highlight how MACS charity (Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia and Coloboma Support) helps children with visual impairments and prepares them for life as independent and disabled UK citizens.
The lesson lasts around 2 hours and includes differentiated activities, case study investigations, literacy focus and debate tasks, clip tasks and group activities as well as guidance to show how the lesson meets sections of the new PSHE draft curriculum from the DfE for 2020 and the statutory Citizenship curriculum for KS4.

Very easy to use and straight forward - also great to use as an example of evidence to show you are planning for every child.

This is the second of 12 sessions which will cover all aspects of employability skills, as well as serve as a step-by-step guide for schools and students that are signed up to the LikeToBe website.
This second session is all about the importance of being an effective communicator and how we can develop our communication skills.

A 25 minute Tutor Time session all about why veganism and vegetarianism are increasing in popularity. The session investigates whether these ways of eating are healthier, why people believe it is difficult to be vegan and the main reasons why people are taking up diets that avoid animal products.
